Don’t build a program, build a practice: How to make inclusion part of your everyday

Inclusion isn’t just a department or a program, it’s a practice built by individuals, in the choices we make every day. This session challenges participants to stop waiting for the next big initiative and start looking inward: How do I lead meetings? Who do I interrupt? Whose voice do I make room for, or not?

Through reflection and peer conversation, participants will surface the small, often overlooked habits that either foster inclusion or reinforce exclusion. Then, they’ll design one practical, repeatable behavior they can commit to; something they do personally, not just encourage systemically. Because sustainable inclusion doesn’t start with strategy decks. It starts with people. One decision, one habit, one moment at a time.
